When I hurt the back I actually slipped , good job it wasn't a too dangerous spot haha , loved when I did that , think I'm on the road to recovery and feel the heart valve scan I'm gonna have will be nothing so gonna start everything up again , got sharp edge on my mind and back down halls ridge at the top of blencathra , hopefully August, need my fitness levels better first

Was told there was a old style Spanish armada type ship was coming into port when I was there but it sailed past and went to aunderland , its at Newcastle now so gonna go see it Saturday

It was a canny ride, couple of hills I wasn't expecting. Hopefully I can go a bit further a field , must admit I'm enjoying being back on the bike , looking at getting a new ebike though

My wife's favorite band so had to take her, they are a good band tbh and know how to put a show on, oasis is my band, seen them or any other of the brothers stuff many times , snow patrol next up for us later this summer

Looks very steep going up it, walked up it couple years back after doing 3 wainwrights(Dale head , hindsgarth and Robinson, walking up the pass was the hardest bit 🤣 this video was a couple years back too, I used a hybrid bike and didn't like the thin tyres so sold it when I got home and bought a new bike with fat tyres 🤣🤣

@Stephentoutdooradventures tbf it is a nice beach, used to go for the airshow. That's the only nice thing in the whole place though 😂

Never liked the airshow apart from when good fighter jets were there like the stealth bomber which was cool to see , only place in that area I'd go to , us in the North east have the best beaches in the country from seaburn to Scotland

@Stephentoutdooradventures I used to love the airshow, the red arrows were great. I agree about the beaches they're great a couple of them could do with a good clean up though.

Couldn't miss the van when I saw it today, think its mint like haha , I'm hoping to finally do that camp at easedale tarn this weekend , it's Bank Holiday so not 100% sure yet as will be carnage over there , if not it should be around 3 weeks as I've a caravan getaway end of next week, always a pleasure to give shout outs , with me seeing u thought I'd mention it and recommend your videos to anyone who watch this although I'm struggling for views with my outdoor stuff

It's in the caravan holiday rule book 🤣 this is an old one tbh but we have a couple this year, haggerston castle and reighton sands which I will be putting on here if I do them right plus we have center parcs too in the summer

@tooniehd1076 I've been there but when I was 11, 40 years ago haha ,seemed OK but no direct access to the beach puts me off going back , prefer reighton sands to any other havens I've been to, going later this year

@Stephentoutdooradventures there's a nice little cliff climb with a rope, once down on the beach its lovely seals are down there too. I was down there last year with friend. If you don't mind a little climb it's actually decent down there.

@Stephentoutdooradventures I always go to blue dolphin, might give Reighton sands a go next year as I'm already booked at Blue dolphin this year.
